2008 Chrysler Aspen was introduced in the year 2007 as the first SUV of its kind from Chrysler.
It was designed for attracting the customers who were more interested in the premium features of a large size SUV with upscale appearance, but couldn’t afford to pay for a GMC Yukon or other similar luxury class SUVs.
Is It Worth Your Money?
In many aspects of the vehicle, Chrysler Aspen delivers just what the doctor ordered. The seating capacity of the Chrysler Aspen is 8, and with three rows inside the vehicle, it makes a good choice for long trips.
The standard V8 engine churns out enough power; while a solid collection of luxury amenities make it an obvious choice. The 2008 Chrysler Aspen is manufactured based on Dodge Durango mechanically. Chrysler has tried hard on improving the ride quality, minimizing the vibration and noise of the vehicle too; but it is still not worth your money, as you’d be much better off with Ford Explorer or GMC Yukon by spending just about $5,000 extra!
In a Nutshell
Even though the 2008 model of Chrysler Aspen had represented a very good package for the large buyers of SUV, there was not much difference from the old model of Dodge Durango. Chrysler Aspen adopted the 4.7 liter hemi V8 engine delivering enhanced efficiency and more power, but there was nothing for the customers in terms of interiors, except some extra chrome!
